The note was issued by Store Norske. Store Norske Spitsbergen Kulkompani A/S was established in 1915 under the name “Det norske spitsbergensyndikatet”. It then acquired a number of smaller companies: Arctic Coal Company, the coalfields at Green Harbour in Grønfjorden, A/S Kulspids and Norske Spitsbergen Kulkompani A/S. On 30 November 1916 the syndicate was converted into a limited liability company. Nominal value: 10 øre, a rare denomination The note has been signed by Knut Ertsaas and Morten Lind. Knut Ertsaas was company secretary of Store Norske 1946-47, 1954-57 and 1964. Morten Lind was chairman of Store Norske 1941-42. The note has one stamp: Store Norske Spitsbergen Kullkompani The note has one fault: The note has been ripped.
